Amplification
Whether it is an old radio or a new electric guitar, we’re familiar with amplification. It is the process of making small things larger.
When exploring our mind for ideas, we’re taking small thoughts and making them more prominent. We do this by repeating the word and looking for another response to emerge.
I used this technique when asking about your wants. Try again with some other words.
Let’s get right into it. Here is chapter 9 of Five Life-Changing Ideas.
Psychiatrist Carl Jung liked to use this technique. It’s called amplification because you give as many responses as you can (amplify) to a single word or phrase.
Try to list 5-10 items for each prompt.
