Lifespan Development is also called developmental psychology. As the names suggest, it is trying to understand how people change over time. The course covers the entire human lifespan from fertilization to death. It include questions of when life begins and when life ends. And it looks at every stage in-between.
I created a fictional character called Dave. We track his progress throughout life. I think of Dave as one of Fredrick Remington’s paintings of an adventurer of the Old West. It is the Sage of Dave, a sort of Once Upon A Time approach to lifespan development
